Hello, I’m Emily - an auntie, bike rider and aspiring food grower - living and working in Naarm/Melbourne on unceded Wurundjeri Country.

For the last 10 years I’ve worked alongside local governments and not-for-profits to involve people in the design of policies and services. As a service-designer-turned-engagement practitioner, I hope to draw on all the best bits of public participation, community engagement and design thinking as methods and mindsets for a more just world.

If you want to get me talking, let’s discuss:

  • climate justice and how we connect the dots between all our interrelated challenges - where we build a fairer society that works for people and planet

  • challenging power structures where communities have more agency and ability to make decisions about what matters to them

  • deliberation as a magic ingredient that can bring people together across political boundaries to find workable routes forward

  • prototyping and learning by doing in the real world

Always open for a chat - you can reach at emilytulloh@me.com.

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which I live and work and pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
